Fees and Scheduling

$120 per hour (to be shared between the parties in whatever manner they choose) and a $20 per party one time only administrative fee, which covers mailing a Mediation Certificate of Attendance (when applicable), as well as a summary letter or Memorandum of Understanding drafted for your attorneys.  Payment is due at the time of mediation, or in advance, if the mediation is held by telephone. (Telephone mediations are appropriate in some situations, including when one or both people are living outside of the area.) Cash, check or credit card payment is accepted.

Mediation appointments are available during the day and early evenings, and on weekends, by special arrangement.

Please email or call with questions, to schedule a mediation, or to inquire about a sliding fee structure for payment.  Laura also mediates pro bono through the courts.  Pro Bono Status application forms or Mediation Waiver forms may be submitted to the Clerk of Court in the county where your case is filed.
